Customer Service Representative
CurrentDue to the November 2014 complex rehabilitative durable medical equipment department buyout of Home Health Depot, by National Seating and Mobility, Inc, some of my duties have changed, as well as my company and location. I am thrilled to be working with some of my excellent previous colleagues, while excited to also embrace the opportunity to have met and now work with a wealth of fun and thoroughly professional new colleagues, nationally. Now, my responsibilities include holding the title of Liaison to the ALS equipment loan closet and Muscular Dystrophy Association equipment loan closet, two excellent organizations, dedicated to equipping people as they face very difficult days. I am happy to again be tasked with purchasing our office resources and I enjoy stepping in as our new location's receptionist with visitors and also help field calls from our phone customers. In addition, I provide the first phase of customer service, initiating the intake of patient information into our proprietary database to facilitate processors and mobility specialists to move forward for the patient, providing rehabilitative durable medical equipment. This also includes verifying data from healthcare professionals, medical insurance coverage and/or public assistance. In addition, I coordinate Medicare, Medicaid and HIPAA-required paperwork and coordinate healthcare providers and their staff to gather patient information in order for the equipment to be considered for payment and provide needed equipment as quickly and as seamlessly as possible for the individuals who are in need of it.
