Drawing upon my expertise in Branding, Interior Design and Architecture, I apply a human-centered approach and systems thinking to a wide range of design contexts. Worked as a part of a small and nimble research team using social media listening to better understand the nature of conversations about healthcare that are (and have been) taking place across multiple topics and communities. The project was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in support of a larger, multifaceted initiative.

At CCAD, I developed and taught a senior level course in Professional Practices for Interior Designers which emphasized entrepreneurship and business planing. I created lectures and assignments, lead class discussions, assessing student work, and providing student guidance.In the summer of 2014 I lead a sponsored student research and design project for Airstream, Inc. Students participated in user research and the create of workplace design concepts for the corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility.

At Ohio State, I independently taught several studio and lecture-based undergraduate courses in design foundations and interior design. For upper-level classes, I created the course curricula and materials including, lectures, assignments, readings and exams. For foundation-level courses I prepared presentations, gave drawing demonstrations, and designed lesson plans and daily in-class activities to support larger assignments. KDA is a mid-size architecture firm that specializes in residential projects of various sizes, from kitchen renovations to large scale retail developments. As senior designer, I managed projects from schematic design through construction. I collaborated with colleagues, consultants, engineers and city agencies to ensure the suit client needs and construction budgets. In this role I supervised junior staff in the development and documentation of the design work.

RYA (acquired by Callison in 2009) specialized in branding and retail design for department stores, domestic and international. As a member of the design team, worked with architects, graphic designers and interior designers to create, develop and document design concepts for clients such as: Shinsegae Department Stores (Korea), ALU Fixture Systems, and William Ashley China (Canada).

In 2004, I returned to Fitch to continue working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the creation of branded environmental experiences.Notable Projects: Boeing Dreamspace at 2005 Paris Airshow, Boeing Interior Display Center, Pizza Hut Italian Bistro, Pizza Hut International, Bullock and Jones.

FITCH is a global design consultancy. During my tenure the FITCH used a research and strategy-driven approach to design products, brands, print media, packaging, digital and interactive communications, and retail spaces. I worked as a part of a multidisciplinary team to design experiences and environments for stores, exhibitions, restaurants, and corporate facilities.
