-Implement and lead a tech apprenticeship program -Coordinate employer and community partners to support expanding the tech talent pipeline-Identify funding opportunities through grants and partnerships on the local, state, and federal level

-Diversify employer engagement and involvement through student assessment-Enhance involvement and partnership opportunities-Develop a marketing strategy that fits with the mission of the Bloch Career Center and the overall Bloch School Brand-Communicate recruiting trends and opportunities with Bloch school faculty and staff-Coordinate opportunities for networking between employers and the Bloch school

-Provide support to organizations interested in the Bloch School of Management student talent-Coordinate all Bloch School recruiting initiatives including, but not limited to, on-campus interview schedules, information sessions, workshops, and career fairs-Maintain MBA Focus and manage all job postings-Create and update resume book of current students for prospective employers-Gather data to track statistics regarding number of visits, interviews, and job placements -Work closely with the Bloch Corporate Outreach Officer to ensure that companies new to recruiting at Bloch are brought on board quickly and seamlessly-Communicate with current students to publicize upcoming company information sessions and recruitment events

▪Establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing employers to UMKC students▪Manage the Career Services Internship Stipend program for students involved in an unpaid, nonprofit internship experience▪Serve as liaison to The Henry W. Bloch School of Management▪Advise students on resume review and development, mock interviews, and the internship/job search process▪Create a quarterly employer newsletter and mailings▪Utilize Roo Career Network to monitor progress of employer activity as well as generate regular reports of job information▪Support office initiatives in areas such as event planning, program development, and marketing efforts▪Coordinate internship, part-time employment, full-time employment, and on-campus work opportunities in collaboration with academic, professional, and community partners

The TeamKC Advisory Board works to provide guidance and insight into the trends and needs of KC’s recruiting ecosystem. The board works to create a competitive advantage by fostering collaboration among industry sectors to amplify Kansas City’s livability assets to potential employees, making the region a top lifestyle destination.

▪Directly oversaw a fraternity and sorority community which consisted of approximately 800 students (13% of the campus population) and 14 chapters divided amongst three governing bodies▪Provided strategic planning, policy development, social media management, and marketing strategies to the fraternity and sorority community▪Developed and facilitated leadership training opportunities for students through various stages of their collegiate experience▪Served on the Division of Student Affairs Assessment Committee, the Student Employee Recognition Committee, and Chaired the Applauding Excellence Planning Committee

▪Worked with academic advisors at partner institutions regarding the transfer programs and options for potential students▪Presented at different venues regarding the transfer options available for transfer students to the University▪Provided academic advising support for students interested in transferring to Missouri S&T▪Represented the institution at various recruiting events such as fairs, visit days, and individual family visits

▪Provided advising support to the Assistant Director of Campus Activities by serving as the primary advisor to the Interfraternity Council, Greek Week Committee, and Order of Omega▪Worked collaboratively with the Roberta Hall Complex Director to oversee the programming initiatives for each of the six Panhellenic groups▪Awarded the Outstanding Organizational Advisor Award in 2010 based off of work done with the Interfraternity Council
