My name is Erin Foley and I taught French at the middle school level for three years, and currently teach high school French (levels 4, 5 and AP) at Winchester High School in Winchester, Massachusetts. I hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology. In 2020, I graduated from Gordon College with a master’s degree in Secondary Education in French. I work well both independently and with others. I am proficient in all of the Google Suite products. I am a very goal-oriented person, as shown by the completion of my undergraduate degree in only three years. Over the past decade, I have worked with students in a variety of fields including childcare, dance classes, a short-term in-patient psychiatric facility and finally, public schools. During my experience as a substitute teacher, however, I gained critical experience in the field which helped to spark my passion for education. I have learned how to appropriately present topics to children with different learning styles, which I find to be one of the most important aspects of teaching. I have also worked with young girls at a part-time internship with Girls on the Run, which is an after school program that inspires girls to engage in an active lifestyle while also learning how to set and achieve goals.
