-Supervise all circulation functions at Stevens Memorial Library, including but not limited to data and patron record management (including overdues and billing) in SirsiDynix Symphony, our current integrated library system-Adult Fiction collection development (weeding, purchasing, and processing general fiction, mystery, large print, science fiction, western, and adult graphic novels)-Serials / periodicals collection development (selecting and overseeing weeding and processing)-Management of our "rental" collection with Baker & Taylor Book Leasing-Coordinating museum pass program (facilitating library pass membership, renewal, and data upkeep in Plymouth Rocket's Tixkeeper)-Hold shelf processing and troubleshooting-Monitor courier delivery and receipt of interlibrary loan materials-Oversee the work of volunteers and pages-Fill in at the reference desk as necessary-Participate in Merrimack Valley Library Consortium's Circulation / Interlibrary Loan group

My responsibilities included checking in all serials, newsletters, journals, et cetera; monitoring serials for missing issues and claim with publisher / EBSCO accordingly; weeding serials according to retention policy; spearheading juvenile collection development (weeding, replacing, adding titles to Amazon wishlist, shifting); assisting management of Interlibrary Loans (borrowing and lending); performing reference for members, public, and staff; managing volunteers, assigning tasks according to an individual’s skill set; developing a Libguide to complement the new website format; processing donated books for ongoing book sale; collection development (adding items to wishlist, weeding); cataloging new books, new serials; writing / publishing posts to the Denver Botanic Gardens blog
