I am a junior with a 4.0 majoring in finance at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a co-major in sustainable business and a minor in philosophy. I enjoy working with others, solving problems efficiently, and thinking critically and creatively. I have a passion for the environment, specifically looking to integrate sustainable practices into business. On campus, I am active in many areas to pursue my interests and further my business skills. I am a member of Net Impact, our school's sustainable business club where we discuss and innovate solutions for current sustainability topics, hear from speakers in the industry, and participate in volunteer events on campus. I am also the treasurer for the Women's Club Basketball team and handle the financials for 30+ members and collaborate with the executive board and the Club Sports Federation to run our team efficiently. Last year, I was selected as a Sustainability Scholar and worked with an Earth and atmospheric sciences professor to evaluate how Arctic warming is leading to more severe weather events. I used Python to analyze data and created graphs and created a research poster to present at the Sustainability fair. I am also an active member of the Civic Leadership Development club where every week we volunteer for a different non-profit in the Bloomington area. Not only have these experiences furthered my professional skillset but I have met some great people and learned some amazing things that have furthered my passion for sustainability and helping others. In the future, I hope to combine my business education with this interest in sustainability to do meaningful work that helps companies grow and continues the prosperity of the Earth and the people on it.
