I lead Amazon’s global reproductive health programs and strategies, and manage our comprehensive family building benefit programs.

I managed business operations and strategy for the Inclusive eXperiences & Technology (IXT) Services team, and supported the talent evaluation insight and manager development processes.

In this role, I owned the strategic vision and execution of our experiences, including Represent the Future and Grace Hopper Celebration—the world's largest gathering of women in tech. As part of the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, I was responsible for ensuring GDEI experiences were authentic and inclusive for diverse customers, which ultimately strengthens Amazon’s brand trust and standing as an employer of choice in diverse communities worldwide.

I support The Equitist's vision by building partnerships and helping to chart our course as a leader in health equity consulting, curriculum, and training.

I teach Public Health Law and one section of Healthcare Law at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where my students and I use a transdisciplinary approach that equips them to be effective practitioners--and importantly, advocates-- in the public health space.

- Worked with the North Texas Region Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee to execute the Regional Diversity and Inclusion Best Practices for their territory (best practices, goals, and programs).- Partnered with the Biomedical team to deploy sickle cell awareness trainings for the region.-Led trainings and developed resources, including an Allyship toolkit and Cultural observance guide, for the region.

Title IX:-Responded to COVID-19 public health crisis by developing virtual programs for the campus community (Navigating Safe Relationships While Social Distancing)-Responsible for case management of all employee allegations of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and stalking.-Prepared the Institution’s state-mandated Title IX report in compliance with Senate Bill 212 including statistical demographic, and subject matter data, including preparing such figures and data for widespread publication and distribution.-Developed employee and stakeholder Title IX resources, training, and programs.-Educate staff and managers on university and community domestic violence resources. -Developed Restorative Justice initiatives for implementation in informal resolution contexts.Diversity & Inclusion:-Established as principal trainer for departmental education and outreach opportunities, training over 1,300 members of UT Southwestern faculty, management, and staff.-Develop and facilitate trainings on a range of equity and diversity topics for UT Southwestern stakeholders, including faculty, staff, management, and Title IX representatives from other institutions: ● Inclusive Leadership ● Gender Equity: Designated as Qualifying Training for Institution’s Healthcare Equity Index ranking. ● Unconscious Bias: Inclusive Leaders & InvestigatorsTitle VII:-Thoroughly and expeditiously investigate complaints from faculty and staff regarding potential violations of UT Southwestern’s Equal Opportunity policy, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation based on protected classes.-Prepare position statements for the EEOC, Texas Workforce Commission, and DOL in response to civil rights and employment law grievances.-Facilitate informal resolution between parties where appropriate.Americans with Disabilities Act:-Evaluate employee requests for accommodation in accordance with University policy and the Americans with Disabilities Act

- Investigated Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges regarding potential violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including allegations of sex discrimination and harassment.- Engaged in mediation of discrimination claims, and facilitated the conciliation of cases with cause findings. - Designed and prepared the Commission’s Annual Report.Diversity & Inclusion:- Partnerships: Became lead on program partnership with VAYLA New Orleans to assess claims from immigrant women arising under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).- Created outreach programming and symposia on equity issues to nationwide human rights interest groups and to state university stakeholders.- Assisted the Commission’s Executive Director with the creation and facilitation of trainings on issues including diversity and sexual harassment.

- Supported administration of the nation’s largest class action settlement. Utilized fisheries and gaming laws from Gulf Coast states to investigate instances of fraud, waste, and abuse on Subsistence Claims.- Ensured compliance with Settlement Agreement guidelines through Release and Payment documentation and through outreach to non-compliant parties.

- Provided mediation service for private sector employment discrimination charges filed at the EEOC. - Researched, drafted and corresponded with charging parties and respondents. - Mediated disputing parties in employment discrimination-related disputes.- Supported divisional outreach and workplace education opportunities.
