As a recruiter with a non-traditional career path (journalism --> education --> UX --> retail management --> recruiting), I know what it's like to struggle finding a role that lights you up, and gives you purpose. I incorporate the many, many lessons I've learned over the years in education ("meet them where they're at"), journalism (honesty, clarity, accuracy), retail management ("slow down to speed up") to do things right. I'm a people-person through and through- I want to know how your day is going, what the best thing about your current role is, who do you root for on game day, how you like to spend your time outside of work, and what makes you YOU.
