Erin has spent over a decade as a storyteller. She is currently the director of social media at Seibold+Baker, a multi-line commercial furniture rep group serving architects, designers and furniture dealerships in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky. She was previously an editor with Gyrate Media and specialized in producing short videos and article from schools across the country for Verizon's educational initiative, Verizon Innovative Learning. Erin has also worked as a communications & social media manager for local nonprofits and small businesses, driving internal and external communications and marketing. Her journalistic work has been featured in The Washington Post, Business Insider, Shondaland, Parents Magazine, Refinery29 and others, and she was the Assignment Editor for local parent publication Toledo Area Parent, at which she was responsible for concocting, assigning, editing and writing articles. She has spent over 10 years in education as well, teaching everything from high school English, American Sign Language (ASL), English as a Second Language (ESL) and college courses in French and intercultural communications. With degrees in English, English Education and French, and after time spent living in Luxembourg, Erin is fluent in French. She is also proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and knows basic Spanish thanks to her time teaching in Washington Heights, New York City as part of AmeriCorps. She is currently attempting to learn Arabic, but it's slow going.
