I successfully managed a $1.4 million advertising budget for a U.S. Army Special Operations Recruiting Battalion. I worked with recruiters across a global footprint to create and distribute print and digital collateral, as well as procure promotional items. I developed and maintained relationships with external and internal agencies to ensure the procurement of specialty products. I became the local subject-matter expert in working through the U.S. Army Contracting and Procurement process. I provided external public affairs support including, photography and writing support when requested by my command.

I successfully edited content and designed the layout for Armor Magazine at US Army Armor School. This involved working with authors to get photos and other supplementary content required for their articles.I worked with art director to ensure photos and graphics meet standards for publication. I successfully recreated tables and graphics in vector formats when needed. Converting these graphics decreased the download size of the publication and made it more user friendly.The most successful project of my tenure was creating the eARMOR website. I worked with the IT department to develop a process for converting the print to a fully web-friendly format. I also created the online digital back-issue archive on the website - http://www.benning.army.mil/armor/eARMOR.

Created marketing materials in various formats and sizes to advertise MWR events and facilities on Fort Bragg, NC.Helped administrate the Fort Bragg MWR Facebook page and provided graphical content for uploading to page.Wrote articles and designed layouts for the MWR InMotion Magazine.Attended and worked at events as a marketing representative.
