I design Community Classes at the Vista Adult School for all levels to benefit and participate. Instruction is based on my training, yogic principles, and a dedicated personal practice in meditation, vinyasa, yin, pranayama, and yoga nidra principles.

Xcite Steps Adults is an innovative company serving adults with disabilities throughout the San Diego Area. We take a natural approach to programming by providing three main pillars to improve the lives of adults with disabilities. These programs include 1:1 Coaching, Independent Living Services, and the Social Club. I manage the third pillar, which I believe to be one of the most important pieces of a meaningful Adult Program. The Social Club offers weekly events for our clients to meet up with others in a natural social setting. Numbers attending clubs range from small to large groups (5-20 individuals). I design the clubs to help our clients improve social skills, executive functioning skills, and create a space for them to relax and have fun together. Some clubs that I have implemented include; Beach Bonfires, Talent Shows, Tye Dye Workshops, Paint Nights, Yoga, Murder Mystery Parties, Hiking, Dance Parties, and much more.

-Provide 1:1 behavior intervention services to children the the school, home, and on-site company office settings. -Collaborate with a team of professionals in order to provide the best quality service available for individuals affected with Autism and other special needs-Follow programs set up by ACES Supervisor. Collect clear, accurate, and sufficient scientific data during sessions with clients

Hermosa Beach

-Provided one-to-one behavior intervention services to six children in the home, school, and community settings. -Managed children’s treatment program on a case by case basis. Collaborated with a team of Lead Instructors, Program Directors, and Program Managers on a bi-weekly basis, including: -Created 20+ programs on average that were designed to be the most meaningful to the individual client by matching areas of deficits and using those programs to increase skills.

Long Beach

-Part of the first event in SOSC history to raise over $1,000,000.-Worked closely with the managers of Special Events to organize guest lists, sponsor packages, coordinate event supplies, manage over 25 restaurant vendors, and complete post event acknowledgements. -Responsible creating and implementing a contest for attendees at the first annual ‘Over the Edge’ rappelling event at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, CA. This successful event raised over $150,000 for SO athletes.

-Responsible for caring for a 10 year old child with Cerebral Palsy, -Provided care in the morning before school. -Assisted with grooming, feeding, and transporting from wheelchair to school bus.

-Provided assistance setting up and putting together CAPA tests for students enrolled in the Learning Academy -Sorted and filed paperwork for the 36 students enrolled in the Learning Academy.-Organized three office areas and four classrooms for easier access for disabled students -Assisted volunteer manager in preparation for Annual Golf Fundraiser.

Coached hour-long cheerleading classes of 5-20 students at three different elementary schools weekly. I managed to run classes effectively by choreographing and teaching over 20 dances and cheers to students with a range of abilities and ages.

Santa Barbara, California Area

Trained by a family and two therapists at CARD to implement over 25 individualized programs to reach specific goals, manage behaviors and teach community living skills to a teenager with autism.

Escondido, Ca

-Responsible for taking phone calls, messages, and assisting customers and members at the front desk. -Operated POS system-Signed up 60+ new skaters to participate in "skating school" during my time with the company.-Organized and hosted eight ice skating birthday parties per weekend for groups of 10-20 children/adults. This included handling payment, processing and picking up cake orders, decorating party rooms with balloons and streamers, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
