Conducts network, plant and QOS investigations by:1.1. Implementing investigation process1.2. Maintaining investigation Database and system1.3. Identifying and initiating investigations on all abnormal incidents, QOS problems, customer complaints/claims, problem equipment and rogue networks1.4. Coordinating multi-disciplinary feedback supporting investigations1.5. Monitoring progress and action plans for all investigations1.6. Leasing with QOS, Performance group and investigation steering committee1.7. Carrying out site inspections. Analyses network and equipment performance by:2.1. Extracting and manipulating data from databases2.2. Installing instruments, downloading data and ensuring accurate QOS database2.3. Monitoring and analysing KPI's and trends to identify problem equipment and rogue networks2.4. Analysing secondary plant information for possible malfunction and incorrect operation2.5. Identifying abnormal incidents e.g. High supply losses, frequent line trips, customer, faults affecting the system and fuse operation problems on network2.6. Verifying incident detail in Performance databases;2.7. Analysing Plant data to support investigations and other studies.Reporting by:3.1. Providing input into content and format of QOS and Investigation reports3.2. Reporting on investigations in progress and completed3.3. Producing QOS reports for customers.Ensures performance and quality of supply enhancement by:4.1. Summarising the investigation results, initiating corrective action and monitoring implementation4.2. Giving input to processes, e.g. QOS, change control, design, refurbishment, maintenance, network expansion, technical training4.3. Recommending refurbishment projects4.4.monitoring effectiveness of corrective action.Provides technical support on QOS and network performance
