Following the merging of Thomas Cooper & Co. Benefits Administrator (TCCBA) and Planned Administrators Inc. (PAI), subsidiaries of Blue Cross Blue Shield, I gained a new role as a Business Systems Analyst II. Currently, I am involved in daily meetings with the AVP of Information Systems, the Information System Director, and the Network Analyst. I am on an intense learning adventure and loving it.

Using VMware to virtualize infrastructure, I fulfilled the provisioning of state-of-the-art Dell EMC Power Edge Servers by coupling Dell ESXi host servers to Dell EMC F350 Unity to establish redundant data and redundant Networked Attached Servers (NAS). I designed and fully deployed an entirely new Active Directory Domain utilizing Windows Server 2016 with enhanced Group Policy scripts, software installations, and customized users' controls, including automated patches and updates to all computers, servers, and devices, including firmware. Furthermore, I maintained requirements for updated systems and 4-hour emergency support by vendors in addition to managing MS Azure and MS Office 365. I completely rebuilt the Acronis backup and recovery system to introduce a storage area network (SAN) on a Dell Power Vault system. During the ongoing pandemic, I enabled work-from-home capabilities for office staff and ensured systems infrastructure passed Blue Cross Security Operations.
