I support the non-profit agency through its communication efforts to inform the public of its resources and promote its programs through a variety of channels.Working closely with programs to develop marketing campaigns by creating digital and print advertising within allocated budgets, ensuring marketing avenues align with programs objectives and targeted demographics.Building tailored collateral such as signage, graphics, reports, newsletters, and other printed products all enhancing our brand identity and upholding our communication strategy. Assist in creating multimedia content such as video, photography, and websites for the organization as well as being the designated social media manager for the agency all leading to consistent and engaging content. Also having media relation responsibilities where I provide bilingual interviews, media packages, press releases, and help execute press conferences ensuring a cohesive message is being spread to the public.Coordinating events for outreach to bolster our community engagement and strengthen our partnerships. I also get to represent CAPK at resource fairs and community partner initiative projects, while carrying out translation services for programs.

As the Digital Editor-in-Chief I oversaw all digital products of The Runner. This includes horizontal and vertical video, podcasts, social media platforms, photography projects, and our website.My biggest project during my time in this role was revamping Runner News Network and introducing Spanish language news show El Resumen.During my time on The Runner we ranked nationally for one of the best websites and newspapers at the collegiate level, and first place for most innovative college newsroom in the state of California. I also got the opportunity to present a workshop at the ACP national conference on ways to increase digital content in newsrooms alongside my Video Team Director.

We introduced Runner Reels, vertical videos to tell the news along with Runner Originals, social media based journalism all to better engage with our audience demographic and increase our viewership. Our digital content expansion got The Runner a first place award in the state of California for innovation awarded by the California College Media Association and increased viewership over three times.
