At the middle of 1996 I decided to be an independent consultant, until 2003 I could to create very different solutions for financial, commercial & productive enterprises, some public institutions and a good number of non governmental institutions, some of them were very special solutions as cryptography, hardware controllers, statistical applications, electoral software, production lines, control & simulation of projects, etc.This same year I discovered the "free software world", as a Unix lover, to do my first steps over Gnu/Linux were easy, in 2001 with some friends created the Peruvian Free Software Association (Apesol), I had the honor of be president for the period 2006-2008, until 2012 I was an active member teaching the philosophy & technical stuff when I decline to continue as member for my new obligations (later more information about that).For 2003 I start my own company EqSoft E.I.R.L. (It's alive currently), we are very committed with the freesoftware's way to do business, our main business core are software development, IT audit (with focus in software development projects, code & process) and training for software development tools & rdbms.Our main tools are Python, PHP, C, C++, Java, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Gnu/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenSolaris, Apache, etc.; we are working with some non-free technologies as Oracle, Ms SQl Server, Visual Studio (C#), IIS and some legacy technologies as Visual FoxPro, Power Builder, Cobol, etc.
