Oversee the support for all software applications used by Entrepreneurial Activities and select areas of Student Affairs. Find new technologies and innovations that enhance student and staff experience while upgrading efficiencies to business processes. Work directly with university Information Technology and to manage technology projects for supported areas.

Provide direction and vision to the Conference and Event Services sales and scheduling team – an area focused on both revenue generation and space allocation. Responsible for guiding conference sales business in excess of $2.5M. Ensure that the team is effectively managing the allocation of space use on campus (over 7,000 annual events). Work with university administration to ensure that conference and event sales strategies and procedures align with the strategic and revenue goals for the campus.

Act as both the program and application administrator for the campus one-card system by setting revenue goals and establishing and monitoring the area’s budget as well as developing all policies and procedures for the administration of the program. Provide day-to-day management of the Blackboard Transact application which provides declining balance, meal plan and event access system management. Work closely with campus partners and external vendors to ensure system uptime and functionality as well as incorporate new technologies and features to enhance user experience.

In collaboration with the AVP of Administration and Finance and the AVP of Student Affairs, create, implement and execute all marketing and communications activities across multiple divisions including: Dining, Retail, Vending, Green Music Center (Front of House and Concessions), Conference and Event Services, University Box Office, Student Center, Housing, Residential Life, Student Involvement, Campus Recreation, Career Services and Student Programming. In addition to the primary service areas, provide marketing assistance and input as required to other campus departments including the Green Music Center.

Worked in collaboration with the Executive Director of the Green Music Center (GMC), the AVP for Administration and Finance, key donors and consultants to implement and execute all marketing and communication activities for the GMC including: the facility, the presenting seasons, donor relations, hospitality and event services and ticket sales. Key focus areas included transitioning the marcom focus from the construction phase to the operational phase, supporting the grand opening of the facility, launching the inaugural season and working with the leadership team to support all operations.

Provided departmental leadership and vision for the area that included reprographics (in-plant printing and graphics), remote copy center, USPS Substation, campus mail services, shipping and receiving and campus archives. Exceeded revenue goals and provided exceptional customer service by upgrading equipment and business processes. Duties included department operations, accounting, purchasing, human relations, marketing, sales and customer service.

Worked in with the VP of Administration and Finance and Senior Directors to evaluate implementation of an integrated quality assurance program. Consulted with system-wide contacts to determine best practices. Project was postponed due to financial constraints.

Managed all daily operations of online retailer including sales, customer service, shipping and purchasing. Personally responsible for all inventory purchases ($12M annually) and vendor relations. Recognized as one of the top sales associates and provided direction and training to the sales team. Responsible for productivity, efficiency, morale, and safety of all employees. Reported directly to company President.
