As a scientific data analyst I at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO), I apply my passion and knowledge of physics, electronics, and programming to the field of radio astronomy. I work with a team of researchers and engineers to collect, process, and analyze data from radio interferometers, such as the Very Large Array (VLA).I have a strong academic background in physics and engineering, with a BS in engineering physics/applied physics from the University of Texas at El Paso. I also have an AA from El Paso Community College in criminal justice and corrections, which reflects my interest in law and society. I have developed multiple skills and competencies through my education and work experience, such as Python, OpenCV, Linux, DSP, and telescope operation. I have also earned several certifications from LinkedIn, such as Learning Python, Introduction to Deep Learning with OpenCV, and Introduction to Linux. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my horizons.
