I prepared and taught lesson plans in the elementary and secondary levels. I incorporated sight reading, vocal technique, music theory, and repertoire into the high school lesson plans and used a variety of techniques to teach the material. I also choreographed and taught two pieces for the Winter Concert and conducted a large portion of the Winter Concert as well. At the elementary level, I incorporated music education methods including Kodaly, Orff, and Dalcroze in lesson plans for K-5th grade. I also emphasized a hands-on approach to basic music theory concepts by incorporating interactive music games into the lessons.
