These negotiations can span many months and typically involve describing every aspect of the business processes within ON Semiconductor. While the work is complex, Ruth is fond of saying that this is a job she is passionate about because it uses all the various areas of expertise that she has built up over her career: detailed lawyering, deep understanding of the business of semiconductor manufacturing, strategic planning and tactical negotiations. Ruth enjoys 'growing the inner negotiator in all of us'. She has developed the internal negotiation training for senior executives at ON Semiconductor which spans 2 days and includes 4 interactive roll play working sessions. Ruth has also delivered mediation training to audiences including the State Bar of Arizona and the American Arbitration Association.
