Spreading the love towards agile workplace development. Over 10 years of experience from multivendor and international workplace developments. Background in product development and international design business management - so I am an engineer with a designer mindset or vice versa. My passion is in workplace change, work-life balance & project management. Why we founded the Agile Work is a bit longer story, but it all started in 2008 when I finished my Master's Thesis about multidisciplinary working environments for Product development. The thesis itself resulted into a prototype of the well-established & globally spread co-creation platform called the Aalto Design Factory (designfactory.aalto.fi & dfgn.org). This platform provided an ideal environment to prototype many new crazy ideas, spaces, and cultures. It was also a great platform for "planned unplanned coincidences" - also called serendipity. Serendipity plays a big role in our lives. In this case, one or two hugs led to first customers, friendships, and love. Also Agile Work company was established at the Factory together with Antti Pitkänen. I have been said to be fast, impatient, but emphatic. I believe in co-creation, cross-disciplinary team working, and participatory design. These are also some of our main drivers at the Agile Work.I also like to challenge people to try new things and fail fast. Sometimes change needs action and it is better to just do it and apologize later on. We live only once and we spend over 1/3 of our lives at different workplaces - so every day should be designed to be meaningful. Let us help you to develop your workplace, properties and learning environments to be more user-friendly and meaningful. Let's start with a high five or a hug.
