Eric Graber is an economist with thirty years experience in international economics and development. He took a Ph.D. degree from Iowa State University (1978); has taught economics and business courses at University of Maryland University College (2003-present), Bentley University (2015), Brandeis University (2006-07) and Saint Louis University; served in management positions at the U.S. Department of the Treasury (1987-95) and Coopers & Lybrand, Chicago; and consulted in overseas technical assistance projects in Saudi Arabia, Latin America and Armenia. Eric completed a research and teaching engagement at Brandeis University's Crown Center for Middle Eastern Studies with special attention to petroleum and political economy in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. He managed an economics training program at the Joint U.S. Saudi Arabian Economic Commission in the early 1990s. He has been active in officer positions at the National Association for Business Economics and The National Economists Club, Washington DC. He is a long-term member of NABE, since 1974. Eric’s interests in economics embrace measurement of economic activity, economic policy, trade, business and social sector development, taxes and organization theory. He has published a number of articles and contributed to books on the economics of development.
