In addition to my legal practice, I work as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As an attorney, my work focuses on federal programs in the employment and training context, with an emphasis on unemployment insurance programs. As a nurse, I have 12+ years of experience specializing in adult critical care. For the first 15 months of the COVID-19 global pandemic, I served on the Rapid Response Team at the George Washington University Hospital, where I used my critical care expertise to improve patient outcomes by identifying and treating early clinical deterioration in all areas of the hospital.
