Background:I am a second generation designer. I grew up watching hundreds of homes being designed and built. I changed careers mid-life realizing that the smell of cut wood, blue prints and wet paint made me smile! I left the corporate world and went back to the books. I received my B.S. in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I believe my education and experience in both business and design gives me a unique perspective in creating and managing your design project.Design Philosophy:Great design is not created by a single person but by a collaboration of ideas, skills, hands and talent. Listening is one of the most important skills I bring to the table. Ultimately the designs are always my clients. I am a helping hand to ensure the designs are both functional and beautiful. I always check my ego at the door and enjoy collaborating along side engineers, contractors and other trade professionals. I work on everything from drafting a small bathroom to designing and managing a whole house gut and remodel.
