All-round communications and office person. My main objective was to develop project communications in renovation projects in order to make it easier for tenants and apartment owners to survive the renovation in an apartment building.

As project communicator I worked in building renovations, mainly piping renovations in co-operation with the project manager. My task was to make an invasive and often quite costly renovation easier to understand for the tenants and shareholders in the housing companies that were affected. My task was to make an invasive and often quite costly renovation easier to understand for the tenants and shareholders in the housing companies that were affected. The communications would begin years before the actual renovation started and its purpose was to help "common people" living or owning apartment in the housing company to make good decisions about the renovation and to let them know how the renovation process was proceeding. The project communications involved writing cyclic info letters, managing each project's Sharepoint extranet site for the tenants and the project team, making questionnaires to the tenants to benefit the project and survey their wishes and needs, and presenting the results of the questionnaires at tenant infos.At Vahanen I also helped develop and renew the marketing materials for the piping renovation product "Putkiremontti Plus". I was involved as a communications officer in a group building project in which the idea was to find people who wanted to build their own townhouses as a group led by a professional project manager. I would also write articles myself involving issues that concern private housing companies, such as building renovations and repair but also everything that has to do with living in a Finnish housing company.
