Head of the data group at Twist. Responsible for:- Statistical analysis, machine learning, and bioinformatics develoopment with an emphasis on DNA and next-gen sequencing (NGS). Operations research in manufacturing.- NGS analysis pipeline development/improvement. - Data infrastructure and architecture. - QC development

R&D scientist involved in different aspects of DNA assembly, molecular biology, and Next-gen sequencing. Focus on data analysis and QC pipeline development.

Developed a high throughput method to investigate gene function in bacteria using CRISPR/Cas9, oligo arrays, and next-gen sequencing

HHMI fellow of the LSRF.

Developed a platform for 3D cell culture. Also investigated the expansion of cardiac precursors from stem cells.

Studied chromosome segregation and organization in Caulobacter using genome engineering, microscopy, and image analysis.
