• Trained to become an active listener on a teen-to-teen crisis hotline for 5 hours, once a week for 5 months, and routinely tested of ability through numerous role-plays
• Upon successful completion of training, responded to calls and texts at the Cedars Sinai Hospital for remaining 4 years, for 5-hour shifts once a week
• Spoke at 3 public forums on behalf of Teen Line, doing outreach and explaining suicide prevention to students at schools
