CurrentI am a qualified Notary Public and my duty is to prepare and certify documents and deeds for use anywhere in the world, and to authenticate such documents so as to make them acceptable to the authorities in the country where they are to be used. I do so using my oficial seal. My Notary Practice is seperate from the legal practice, and like all other Notaries in England & Wales I am regulated by the Faculty office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. The most common notarial services I carry out are -Attesting to the signing of documentsAuthenticating the contents of documentsPowers of attorney and other documents for use overseasApplying for legalisation of documents at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office ('obtaining an Apostille') or other legalisation from a ConsulateAssisting with documents for setting up a company abroad or which require to be signed by a Company for use abroad Administering oaths, affidavits and statutory declarationsCertifying copies of academic qualifications, passports and other documents
