Donkey Republic is a global micro-mobility platform. While I was working there, Donkey Republic has seen a growth in its fleet from 3000 bicycles to over 12.000 vehicles, the addition of e-bikes and e-scooters while operating in more than 60 cities across Europe. Being part of a growth phase had its challenges. At times, I was the only full-time employee in the marketing team. I focused on branding and communications, and helped an ambitious strategy to create predictable and stable revenue by building a local user base and moving away from being a service 100% for visitors. PingOut is a passion project of Danish designers Anders Find and Troels Øder Hansen, bringing social togetherness, activity, design and art into the public space through street ping pong.Starting as part of a mandatory internship during my second degree, I helped PingOut and the founders with strategic planning, communication and brand development. The 14th European Maccabi Games took place in the historic Olympia Park (Berlin, Germany) in the summer of 2015. 2500 athletes from 37 nations and 300 volunteers from all over the world united.As a result of our small organising committee’s work, tickets to the opening ceremony and the number of online broadcast viewers reached record heights, exceeding expected numbers by tens of thousands.From the nature of the event, communication had to be directed and adjusted to several diverse internal and external stakeholders, eg. politicians, religious associations, international delegations, venue operators, event coordinators, participants, sponsors, press, volunteers and visitors of course.My responsibilities included:• Management of the website and mobile app content, SoMe• Management of partner and ambassador relationships• Lead a group of photographers for content creation and coverage• Hosted a press tour on event site, coordinated interviews with ambassadors, former Olympic champions and Head of Committee• Negotiated and succesfully secured a sponsorship with a major, global sports equipment supplier
