About Ethan Acevedo

I am a current junior at Gettysburg College with a major in Health Sciences and a double minor in Biology and Anthropology. Current cumulative GPA: 3.92. I am a part of the STEM Scholars program, and a Presidential Scholar. At Gettysburg, I am a Program Coordinator for the Gleaning Project and Food Pantry at SCAAP through the Center for Public Service. Also, I am the treasurer for the American Cancer Society, Service Affinity Chair in the Student Senate, a Big for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a PLA for the biology department!Currently, I am employed by Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA as a Patient Care Technician on the surgery, neurology and trauma floor. Outside of Academic achievements, I earned my Eagle Scout in 2021 with the completion of a 136.5 hour project. While I am still in college, I am preparing to eventually attend Medical School in the future, with the hopes of becoming a rural medicine doctor!
