During the last year, I have interned for my local mayor’s office, Register of Deeds, and Chamber of Commerce. At the mayor’s office, I would talk to other government officials and create a project that would help the county that I lived in. The project that I helped create was called Keep Douglas Blue. In the project, I would organize groups to go clean the area around the lake; as well as going to clean up the lake with them. At the Register of Deeds, I would process files and convert them from paper to online documents. At the Chamber of Commerce, I would conduct cold calls to residents and businesses across Tennessee. I would update their information based on what the job the chamber wanted. During the last summer, I worked for a boat rental company as a dockworker. In this job, I would take care of customers as well as maintain boats. Currently, I work for the Seidman Research Institute at Arizona State University, where I go throughout Phoenix and conduct surveys based on what the Institute tells us. Recently, we have been surveying at Boys and Girls clubs.
