Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated with technology. From watching “how does it work” science shows to seeking out better personal technology, I have sought after knowledge about how these amazing tools in our lives work. When I discovered programming in college, I was immediately hooked. I was finally able to see how software worked behind the screen! I graduated from the Computer Science program at BYU, where I delved into coding and learning all I could. I developed many useful skills and I am now well on my way to making a difference in the industry. I am a quick learner, as I had no prior coding experience before college and graduated among the top students of my class. I have experience teaching and coaching from my role as a Teaching Assistant. I utilized my knowledge to gain experience and improve my skills as a web developer for BYU. I worked as an intern for Pattern, where I learned about agile methodology and how to program effectively and efficiently. I am now a full-time Software Engineer at Pattern, and continue to learn and contribute to the team and the organization as a whole. I am excited to learn all I can, continuing my search for greater understanding of technology, and I hope to make a difference in society through what I build.
