Working with organizing partners primarily in the Gulf South region to develop campaigns that leverage the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce people's energy costs, revitalize the public sector, and repair climate and communities.

Ethan’s current focus is leveraging the largest one-time public investment in decarbonization in U.S. history, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), to reduce people’s energy costs, revitalize the public sector, and repair climate and communities. As a Florida Policy Institute policy fellow, he will analyze the impact of the IRA on Florida’s public sector, economy, and communities.

Independent consultant to foundations and non-profit community organizations, supporting work on strategic planning, landscape analysis, campaign development, federal policy implementation, and grant making. Partners included the Four Freedoms Action Fund (Jun-Dec, 2023), W. K. Kellogg Foundation (Jul-Dec, 2023), Mott Philanthropic (Sep 2023 - Jan 2024), and the Florida Immigrant Coalition (and several FLIC affiliates).
