Hello, I'm Ethan Hall and I'm a soon-to-be senior Mathematics major at Fairfield University. Currently, I am working on campus as a tutor in the Math Center as well as holding a work study position in the university mailroom.At the Math Center, I tutor peers who need assistance with concepts in Precalculus, Calculus 1, and Calculus 2. I'm able to adapt to the learning style of every student, responding to each question they might have with an approach suitable for their level of knowledge.In the Mailroom I scan and store packages in addition to assisting with package delivery at the window. To be successful, I rely on my ability to communicate with other staff members and university students as well as organizational skills to ensure all mail is delivered in a timely fashion. I also work at my local bakery, preparing donuts, cookies, turnovers, etc. to fry and bake off. I utilize interpersonal communication skills, coordinating with the staff by the register and fellow bakers to keep our inventory stocked at all times. The position also requires great flexibility, as what I will be asked to make on one day isn't always what I'll have to make the next.
