-Engineer Platoon Leader in the US Army and Hawaii National Guard (HIARNG) during a Battalion transformation from Brigade Special Troops Battalion to a Brigade Engineer Battalion (BEB). -Managed a platoon of thirty-eight personnel, maintained records, internal communication, briefed status of platoon and platoon operations to the Battalion Commander (LTC), and created ten separate training events for squad and platoon level task.-Promoted personal one-on-one professional development team building, and individual job skills, as well as weapons training enhancing the overall competency of the unit, the Army, and personnel readiness.-A Company, 227th BEB operations, training, risk reduction, and accountability of records for training and personnel readiness. -Led Platoon planning as part of three Field Training Exercises involving approximately 85 soldiers, three weapons ranges, and Cross-trained fourteen soldiers completed combat engineer training; without any injuries to personnel, loss of equipment, or incidents within the environment. -Led efforts resulting in our Company’s training plan to catch up with the Battalion training plan avoiding falling behind by one full year of required training. -Provided significant input to the Brigade Operations, G3 Emergency Response Plan for the HIARNG and worked closely with the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency—approved by the Hawaii National Guard Commanding General. -As the Primary (Brigade) G3 Daily Briefer provided updates to the Brigade Protocol and G3 during the 2014 annual Tiger Balm Bi-lateral Division-level Exercise with the Singapore Army, focused on strengthening ties, security and interoperability, as well as the HIARNGs readiness for Civil Support Mission. My Daily briefings aided the Brigade G3 to update the HING Commander on the exercise and G3 operations.
