Gain extensive exposure to a variety of departments where the focus is to master the technical components of hotel operations as well as managing these operations under the guidance of department managers. This program spans over 4 months and each department was assigned at different properties within the central Ohio area. The program designated three weeks for every department to be completed/fulfilled. The program layout is as follows:Week 1-3: Housekeeping management at the Springhill Suites and Towneplace Suites by Marriott Columbus Easton AreaWeek 3-6: Food and Beverage management at the Renaissance Inn by Marriott Columbus Westerville-Polaris HotelWeek 6-9: Sales at the Marriott Columbus OSUWeek 9-12: GM Shadowing at the Springhill Suites OSU and the AC Columbus Downtown Week 12-15: Leadership Development with Concord HR representatives (DEI training, Concord 5-6-4, etc.) as well as Engineering at the Marriott Columbus OSU
