I have a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Washington State University and I worked for an architectural firm as an architectural designer for almost 11 years. A few years ago, I was laid off, and this opened an opportunity for me to learn and to explore other careers. I decided to study animation and graphics. I acquired an Associate in Arts degree and Certificate of Achievement in Animation and Graphics from Bellevue College (Bellevue, WA), and Certifications in Master and Advanced Studies in Character Animation from Animation Mentor (Emeryville, CA).During my studies at Bellevue College and Animation Mentor, I learned to use many new animation and graphics programs beside Autodesk AutoCAD, which I used during my employment as an architectural designer. I worked extensively with Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds Max to create 3D animation and 3D models, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics, Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, and Flash for 2D animation. I also have dabbled in Revit, ZBrush, MotionBuilder, Google Sketch-up, and Microsoft Office Suite to a comfortable degree. I am excited to apply my experiences as an architectural designer and the skills that I have learned from my studies and to provide my services to the community.
