I traveled to Vancouver, Washington to work with M.A. Mortenson for a unique and interesting internship experience. I worked directly with a project team with a mix of members from the Portland office and the Federal Contracting Group. In this project for Bonneville Power Administration, I worked on design approval in the final stages of the design as well as early-procurement work. This involved both field and office work.- Mainly focused on MEP engineering, but I had a part in many aspects of the project- I also handled information security for the team, I had an integral role in multiple improvements for this team which included things like improved logs and tracking- Reviewed drawings and design changes- Worked on submittals, field inspections, and construction coordination- I was a valued and respected member of the team

I joined the PAR Systems team in the summer of 2023 for an internship in Controls Engineering. I worked onsite supporting a team of 20 controls engineers during the summer and then shifted to an offsite, part-time role for the remainder of 2023 and into 2024. In this role I:- Drafted electrical schematics for multiple automation cells in AutoCAD Electrical- Assembled a complete custom electrical panel providing the hands-on knowledge to help with the electrical drafting and design responsibilities- Worked collaboratively with project teams to correctly draft and document custom automation

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to join the Graco team for my first co-op experience! I joined the team during my second semester of college and worked directly with a team of engineers to improve production and introduce a new assembly process. Following the end of the co-op time frame, I stayed with the company until the summer of 2023. In this experience my exposure included robotics, flex feeding systems, and manufacturing cell development.- Made design changes to multiple parts involved with robots- Helped set up new robot cells and designed fencing and safety solutions- Improved assembly line through installation of new components and fixtures- Designed multiple new production parts and tools in Creo Parametric- Created a project development area for engineering use- Trained new interns and co-op

In the 2+ years I worked at Cub Foods; I had the opportunity to greatly improve my understanding of store operations.
