I am a recent graduate of the University of Denver in Daniels’ College of Business majoring in Marketing with an end goal of working in client services and the sports industry. Through my education and industry experiences, I have honed strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. This has allowed me to achieve high marks throughout undergraduate and exceed expectations in my jobs. I have an entrepreneurial spirit which fuels my podcast “Nuggets Nation”. I am able to manage multiple tasks at once including: networking with perspective guests, GarageBand for production work, and content creation as the host of the show. Although sometimes chaotic, I thrive under pressure (and actually enjoys it). My first 10 episodes have done quite well. I have obtained much of my knowledge on how to produce and market the podcast myself in addition to a high performing work ethic from my education and various jobs I have held over the years. Specifically, my Social Media Marketing course taught me the importance of simple stream line messaging when writing for social media platforms. One of the outcomes from this course was that I collaborated with Queen City Collective Coffee to develop an informative content strategy that utilized photography/imagery. My forty plus post content calendar was then utilized by the company. My educational and industry experience to date has only fueled my drive to be a valued contributor to a team and I am excited to use my vast interpersonal knowledge of sports and marketing to help grow a sports organization.
