Born and raised in rural North Carolina, I grew attached to technology at a young age to keep me entertained. In middle school, I would clean my classmates' shoes to save up for new computer components. Building a passion for hands-on experience with intricate yet modulable technology, my knowledge has only grown since.Attending Appalachian State University has given me the opportunity to embark on many different learning opportunities. Broadening my horizons, App State has allowed me to explore and pursue the education I desire. After taking my first Computer Information Systems class, I learned the importance of protecting data. Since then, cybersecurity has been at the forefront of my studies, and I have a growing craving to expand my understanding of Information Systems security.I will graduate in May 2025, and I am open to any internship that will help me achieve my career goals.
