I'm a self driven individual with a passion for Mechanical and Automotive related fields, this has led me to pursue a career within the Engineering discipline. I am currently undertaking my final year of study, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mechatronics at Griffith University.Studying at Griffith has allowed me to gain experiences across many different fields within the engineering discipline, as well as explore my interests in the automotive engineering industry through extra-curricular activities. Outside of University I work at VR Motorsports which has given me the opportunity to network and develop strong professional communication skills.During my time studying I have worked with many different groups on various projects. Through this I have developed valuable skills that can be applied within industry. These skills include project management, teamwork, material and structural analysis, research methods, engineering design and strong problem-solving skills. University has allowed me to explore and learn various engineering software such as MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS and Logisim, which have helped me develop my skills and knowledge further. I have participated as a member of the Griffith Racing Team in 2022 to help prepare for the QLD mock competition shootout and further develop the car, learning many more unique skills such as composite manufacturing, sheet metal design, welding and metal manufacturing processes. Throughout the duration of my degree, I have had many amazing opportunities to explore various engineering workplaces which has helped cement my passion for engineering as a career, and I look forward to finally working in the industry with fellow like-minded engineers and striving to create a better and more sustainable future.
