During my internship at Alimak, I gained hands-on experience in industrial project management. I used Microsoft Project and Planner (PW4) to plan and schedule projects, applying Critical Path Method and Gantt charts to keep timelines on track. I was involved in budgeting tasks, from estimating costs to monitoring expenses and comparing them with the budget to ensure financial control. Additionally, I participated in project kickoffs and closeouts, participated in lessons learned sessions, and documented key insights for continuous improvement.

I used AutoCAD and Bluebeam to review, edit, and mark up technical packages. I managed document control by organizing and distributing files through Sharepoint & Excel, ensuring that engineers had the necessary documents to work efficiently on-site. I conducted initial reviews of incoming packages for various projects, documenting revisions and changes in calculations, drawings, or equipment. Additionally, I prepared reports on ongoing projects to showcase the company’s involvement and milestones, essential for marketing and attracting new/similar clients.
