As a CEQA and NEPA practitioner, my role primarily entails completing environmental review for a diverse portfolio of projects throughout California. My project experience consists of a wide array of projects related to water resilience, energy, and healthy communities. I coordinate and manage internal project teams to complete high-quality deliverables. In addition, I specialize in assessing impacts of agricultural resources through preparation of Land Evaluation and Site Assessment models consistent with California Department of Conservation guidelines. I also have experience preparing CalEEMod modeling and and summary floodplain encroachment reports.

As an engineering research intern, I was responsible for conducting full-scale Freedom To Operate and prior art searches in order to aid BamCore's efforts to obtain patents. I also conducted research to help capital raising efforts by performing large Crunchbase query searches and compiling pertinent information. Additionally, I have performed research on energy analysis software, including California Building Code Title 24 compliant software, in order to help to construct a dashboard used to convey long-term financial, environmental, and social benefits to prospective clients in an easy-to-deliver manner.

As a research and advocacy intern, I researched a variety of projects which OC Coastkeeper is involved in with the major focus being the Poseidon desalination plant in Huntington Beach. I have attended regional water quality control board meetings to provide comment and track process on permitting. Additionally, as information was moving online in the COVID-19 era, I assisted in creating graphics for social media distribution and brainstormed methods to reach Coastkeeper's audience via online communication.

As an education intern, I was primarily responsible for engaging the public in events and services that BCC provided. For example, I applied ecological and environmental concepts into guided public tours and guided public science experiments. I also assisted in "Window to Our Wetlands" events and science camps for kids. Additionally, I was able to contribute to a five year restoration project at a nearby park. I also was given the responsibility to handle datasets for Southern Californian school districts including Los Angeles School District, one of the largest in the country. This data was critical to streamline grant applications. Additionally, I assisted a restoration project by contributing some GIS work for BCC after my time as an intern had ended.
