I am a research technician at AbCellera, specializing in antibody discovery via high-throughput single-cell screening. I use fluorescence and luminescence-based assays to find and validate antibody leads for therapeutic development. I graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine. For my honours research project, I studied gene expression in muscular development using ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, and qPCR. Shortly after graduating, I interned at the National Research Council of Canada, studying the role of extracellular vesicles in cancer metastasis using biochemical and functional assays. While completing my undergraduate degree, I simultaneously worked in science policy at the National Research Council of Canada. Through this experience I leveraged analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to bridge the gap between scientific evidence and policy implementation. Through collaborating with government agencies, scientific organizations, and stakeholders, I developed a strong foundation in science communication and presentation design.
