About Ethan Mcgee
I am a hands-on technology leader with over a decade of experience that includes guiding teams with up to seven members and driving four systems implementations from concept to deployment. In my previous role as Lead Software Engineer with IAG, I focused on leading a team in product development and infrastructure modernization initiatives. My background also includes nine years as a computer science instructor at Bob Jones University and several years in software development roles for two logistics companies. I also have several personal projects (see Projects section or my GitHub link for details).My technical areas of expertise include system design and architecture with a focus on underlying infrastructure design, and my project history spans embedded systems, web applications, APIs, DevOps, and distributed systems. I have developed solutions using Java, C, C++, Golang, various AWS tools, and JavaScript frameworks and libraries. In addition to my experience, I earned my PhD and MS in Computer Science from Clemson University, and completed my undergraduate work at Bob Jones University.
