My work has spanned the repatriation of ancestors and cultural items, the stewardship of Country, and the preservation of cultural landscapes and significant places.Through my experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of safeguarding physical and tangible culture alongside the stories, traditions, practices and connections that define culture and is embedded in Country. I am passionate about ensuring that this strong culture, heritage and knowledge is passed down to future generations in ways that honour both the past and the present and provides a platform for the future.I have had the privilege of working on projects that centre on the protection of sacred sites, the repatriation of ancestral remains, and the careful management of cultural items. My work also includes fostering strong community partnerships, collaborating with Elders, and engaging with traditional custodians to ensure that cultural heritage is preserved in ways that respect the voices and knowledge of our people.My expertise lies in creating practical solutions for cultural conservation, repatriation, and landscape management, while always keeping the focus on community empowerment and sustainable care for Country.
