- Worked with consultants, engineers, and urban planners to help develop a 3MW solar farm in the northeastern sector of San Diego- Researched information about the various procedures, applications, and steps needed to develop a solar farm- Evaluated the different methods of interconnection (pre-applications, cluster study, independent study, and fast track), site design, project location profile, project incentives, financial summary, and solar panel design in the executive summary for the solar farm- Researched the cost of electricity from local contractors like San Diego Community Power and San Diego Gas & Electric- Helped initiate the application process for the Department of Energy Loan Program by evaluating how each stage applied to our project, who qualifies for the program, and the interest rates for the loan program- Created a step-by-step process for signing a subordinate or insubordinate land lease to allow the development and installation process to begin- Improved the sales process of penetrating into the residential neighborhoods based on data research of how electricity is sold on the wholesale distribution market - Worked with multiple policy stakeholders to get proposals approved by the Vista Irrigation District Board of Directors to begin the process of developing the solar farm
