• Identify, assess, and appoint/renew new and existing Best-in-Class enterprises and strategic training providers to support SSG and other national initiatives to address capability gaps in priority/emerging skills areas. Mediate and negotiate on the scope of partnership based on proposals, budget, programme offerings, contracts, and the impact on the sector and individual trainees, and prepare and present budget papers to secure funding for their appointments.• Led and conducted SSG’s Call-For-Information for the appointment of a CET Centre for the Energy and Power sector in Singapore in June 2021, to build a robust and high-quality CET ecosystem through strategic partnerships and management of CET providers, and engagement of enterprises in skills development. Reviewed, analysed, and negotiated with training providers on their proposals and saw through the entire process of the training provider’s appointment.• Account and partnership manage 15 Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and private training providers under 4 SSG schemes to develop capabilities by guiding and advising them on claims and funding-related policies, drafting and managing contracts, monitoring and evaluating their performance and grant utilisation, planning and staffing ministerial-level events, and resolving their operational issues, with the aim to uplift the Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace, Marine and Offshore, and Energy and Power sectors through training and help displaced individuals to be re-employed.• Gather market intelligence on industry and sustainability trends and manage the CET supply to meet the jobs and skills demand of the economy, and actively engage, build networks, and work closely with strategic partners and stakeholders such as government agencies, industry associations, unions, enterprises, and IHLs to implement workforce development and sustainability plans identified in the Industry Transformation Maps and promote SSG’s initiatives to companies and the workforce.
