In my role as Pharmacist in Charge I had the privilege of supervising 60 staff and overseeing daily operations. I identified failing processes of finding and rectifying system problems and reformed them to avoid hindered profits. I enjoyed motivating my staff by shifting employee culture which resulted in improved satisfaction, reduced errors and a better workplace for all. I consistently launched new departments with minimal staff increases which allowed for increased morale due to internal promotion and drove other departments to sustain or improve efficiency.Five-Phase Expansion project: ☛ Oversaw project to increase facility space from 6,000 square feet to 10,000, which included a USP 800 compliant cleanroom containing an ISO Class 7 buffer room and an ISO classified anteroom.☛ Monitored fiscal outcomes throughout to ensure strategic and operational benchmarks were being met.☛ Managed budget concerns, regulatory requirements, and work plan resulting in on-time completion of project.

In this role I transformed the outpatient and retail pharmacy department of a non-profit community hospital. I assisted with strategic oversight and transformational growth through my involvement in financial, human resource and operational activities. During my tenure I researched and developed proposals for six new business initiatives and continued to push for individualized yet cost-effective outcomes for all patients.Highlights:☛ Triggered 550% increase in weekly prescription volumes in less than two years. ☛ Launched a community health clinic that administered more than 4,000 immunizations from 2015-2016.☛ Taught lifestyle and medication based courses which lowered CHF and COPD admissions rates.☛ During my time as a staff pharmacist I introduced a new and improved workflow to cut patient wait time, increase employee satisfaction, and increase flow-through volume.

Through focusing on sustained revenue and operational efficiency I grew this community pharmacy to $10 million-dollars. I oversaw all business operations including long-term strategic planning, quality assurance and solid core process development.
