CurrentOpenCRVS is an OpenSource project, designed to connect civil registration into national ID, health and legal services, thus providing protection for the 230 million children globally who currently do not have a birth certificate or legal identity. Developing nations are bound by expensive software licenses for civil registration systems that are not designed for their beneficiary contexts and are not interoperable. OpenCRVS is configurable, interoperable and scalable to any countries needs and makes best use of limited resources. In combination with Docker Swarm, all microservices in all architectural layers can be distributed across a public or private cloud. Stack: Massively scalable and extensible, OpenSource NoSQL database server, using interoperable Health Level 7 FHIR v4 (ANSI Accredited, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) as JSON. ElasticSearch: Schema-less, real-time de-duplication and search engine. InfluxData: Hyper efficient and optimised, time series database for big data insights. Microservices: Microservices are written in TypeScript (a strictly typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to JavaScript) and NodeJS using the HapiJS framework. OpenHIM: A node enterprise service bus providing secure APIs for 3rd parties, and governs transactions, routing, orchestrating and translating requests into FHIR v4.GraphQL: Reducing the number of HTTP requests that are required to render a view.JWT protected API gateway & OAuth single sign-onProgressive Web Application using React: Our full-stack javascript application lowers TCOConforms to IT organisations adopting ISO27001 certification. Independently penetration tested to UK Government standards.
