    In the Centre of Health Protection, I am involved in two FP7 projects on aging (MARK-AGE and CHANCES). In CHANCES I am workpackage leader of Biomarkers. Furthermore I am project leader of two projects of the Dutch Food Inspection and Stategic Research project on vitamin supplements and aging.In addition we have facilities to perform biomarker measurements in large scale projects. These biomarkers include oxidative stress and redox status, nutrients such as fatty acid patterns, vitamin A, B6, B9, B12, C, D, E, carotenoids, and many other metabolic biomarkers.
